HUMIS DIP 
1 can chick peas, not drained
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder or fresh, crushed garlic
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. parsley
3 tbsp. sesame tahini paste (found in gourmet section)

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Place in refrigerator until cold - at least 2 to 3 hours. Serve with Syrian bread.
