MEATBALLS & SAUCE 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. wine vinegar
3 tbsp. water
1 egg
1 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

SAUCE:

1/3 c. brown sugar
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Mix beef, bread crumbs and vinegar. Add water, egg, onion, nutmeg and garlic powder. Form into balls. Put in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, make sauce. Combine all ingredients. Place meatballs in crock pot, pour sauce over meat. Cook on low 2 to 4 hours.
