TEISEN LAP 
4 c. self-rising flour
Pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
About 1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg may be added for flavor

Grease, flour, and line with wax paper two 9-inch cake pans.

Rub flour and butter together; mix in salt and sugar; add eggs and milk. Mix well; batter does not need to be totally without lumps. Batter will be fairly stiff; milk amount is not critical; cooks longer with more milk. Bake time in my oven approximately 1 hour; test center and remove when top is golden.
