BASIC STIR FRY | |
1 or 2 tsp. cloves garlic, minced 1 or 2 tsp. FRESH ginger root, minced 3 or 4 tbsp. soy sauce 3 or 4 tbsp. rice wine (dry sherry works just as well) Marinade meat or chicken approximately 30 minutes. Use top sirloin, pork tenderloin, chicken or turkey, cut in half inch wide strips about approximately 2 1/2 inches long. Heat 2 tablespoons peanut oil in wok or fry pan. Saute whatever combination of vegetables desired until crisp tender. Broccoli, red peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.). Pea pods, bamboo shoots, green onions, etc. Remove from wok. Add drained meat and saute until cooked. Add cooked vegetables and stir fry together until hot. Add marinade if desired. Serve over rice or noodles. |
