GRANDMA'S BEST BUTTERHORNS 
1 cake yeast
1 c. skim milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
5 c. flour

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
Sm. amount of milk for smooth texture
1 tsp. almond extract

Dissolve cake yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar. Set aside. Scald 1 cup milk, 1 cup butter, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup sugar. When this mixture is lukewarm, add the yeast mixture. Then beat 2 eggs, add to above and then add 5 cups flour.

Let raise until double. Then roll out dough on a floured surface. Melt butter and dribble over dough. Cut out triangular shapes and roll up triangle from wide points to 1 point. Let rise on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Frost.
