1 (750 ml) bottle brandy Fresh fruit Sugar TIP: Use fruit in season such as strawberries, pitted cherries, peeled and sliced peaches, peeled and sliced plums. Every fruit must be peeled, pitted and slices. Into 3 quart crock or glass jar pour brandy. Add fruit and sugar using 1/2 cup sugar for each cup of fruit, stir occasionally to dissolve sugar. Cover and store in cool room several weeks, stirring occasionally. Add more fruit and sugar as you use fruit from crock. Serve over ice cream or cake. |
