CARAMEL APPLE PIE 
CRUST:

1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter, room temperature

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and blend in butter with fork until mixture resembles cookie dough. Save 1/3 cup for topping. Press into bottom and sides of pie plate. Pierce dough with fork. Bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees.

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg, beaten

Mix cream cheese and vanilla with electric mixer. Gradually beat in the rest. Pour mixture into hot crust and bake another 12 minutes (until set).

TOPPING:

1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Reserved crust topping

(Keep this mix in a separate bowl.) Mix:

3 sliced apples
3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Arrange apples on top of hot pie and sprinkle with nut mixture. Bake until tender and topping bubbles (20 minutes).
