CHEESE TARTS 
2 c. all purpose flour
1 c. butter
1 c. small curd Cottage cheese
Desired jam, preserve or marmalade

In a large mixing bowl, cut together the flour, butter and Cottage cheese until mixture clings together. Form mixture into ball. On a floured board, roll out dough to form a 12 x 10 inch rectangle. Starting with a short end, fold in half. Repeat rolling out and folding 4 more times. Roll out dough to form a 15 x 11 inch rectangle. Using a diamond shaped cutter (round or square) by 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, cut out cookies and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Press indentation in each. Spoon in 1/4 teaspoon jam. Bake in 400 degree oven about 15 minutes. Remove and cool on rack. Drizzle with icing. Makes 36 cookies.

POWDERED SUGAR ICING:

1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 to 2 tbsp. water

Forms a drizzle icing.
