6 lg. cooking apples
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cream
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1. Peel and core the apples. Slice into 1/2" rounds.

2. Place apples in a well buttered oven proof dish. Dot with butter.

3. Combine sugar, cream, cinnamon and nutmeg and pour over the apples.

4. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
