JALAPENO CORN BREAD 
1 c. cream style corn
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 lb. sliced Longhorn Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. diced green chilies or jalapeno peppers, seeds removed

Mix all dry ingredients. Beat in eggs. Add oil and buttermilk. Fold in corn, chilies or peppers. Place slices of cheese last few minutes of baking. Bake 375 degrees about 25-30 minutes (in heated, greased pan).
