BARBECUED SPARERIBS | |
FIRST SAUCE - BASTE: 1 c. vinegar 3 tbsp. lemon juice 3 tbsp. brown sugar 3 tbsp. Worcestershire Roast 3 pounds spareribs at 500 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees; roast 1 1/2 hours and baste every 15 minutes with first sauce. BARBECUE: 2 tbsp. butter (oleo) 1 sm. onion 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. mustard 1 tbsp. Worcestershire 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. ketchup Combine all ingredients in barbecue sauce in small saucepan and simmer 15 minutes. Brush over prepared spareribs. The Barbecue Sauce can be made to use on the grill with chicken. |
