TACO SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. bag Dorito chips
1 head lettuce
Tomatoes (approx. 4 med.)
Onions
2 types Cheddar cheese
1 lg. jar green olives
1 lg. jar Catalina salad dressing
Optional: other ingredients to taste such as broccoli florets & cauliflower
1/2 c. red wine
Chili powder
Fresh garlic or garlic powder

Saute onions in oil (or olive oil, butter, etc.) Add ground beef until browned, salt and pepper to taste. Add chili powder and 1/2 cup of red wine and garlic. Drain and set aside, let cool to add to salad.

Crush Dorito chips in bag. Be sure to open bag at one end, then crush as much as possible. Set to one side to add to salad.

Shred 1 head of lettuce. Chop up tomatoes. Chop onions. Shred 2 types of Cheddar cheese (your preference and/or buy already shredded cheeses in bags). Add 1 large jar of olives. Place all prepared ingredients in large salad bowl, mix ingredients. Save some of the crushed Doritos to place as garnish on top. Pour 1 large jar Catalina salad dressing into salad and mix well.

You can also add other ingredients to taste such as broccoli florets and cauliflower.
