MONKEY BREAD | |
1/3 c. butter 1/4 c. sugar 2 egg yolks 1/2 c. warm milk 2 c. flour, sifted and measured 1 pkg. yeast or 1 cube Cream butter and sugar, beat eggs separately then add to mixture. Add yeast, milk and flour. Set in warm place, cover with damp cloth, let rise to double bulk. Add little flour roll and cut with biscuit cutter or knife. Melt 1/2 cup sweet butter and dip cuttings. Place in ring mold. Set aside and let rise again. Bake 10 minutes in 400 degrees oven. |
