NEVER-FAIL DUMPLINGS 
2 eggs
1 tbsp. shortening
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
milk
1 tsp. Accent (MSG; optional)
yellow food coloring
1 cup cream

Beat eggs and shortening. Add dry ingredients and enough milk to make a stiff dough. Knead dough on floured surface. Roll out very thin, cut in strips and drop into boiling broth with a teaspoon of Accent seasoning. When dumplings are almost done, add a few drops yellow food coloring and 1 cup of cream.
