PUMPKIN PIE | |
3 tbsp sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp cloves 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup molasses 1-1/2 cups strained cooked or canned pumpkin 1 cup milk 2 eggs 1 egg yolk 1 egg white 9-inch unbaked pastry shell Mix sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger and salt. Combine with molasses and pumpkin; add milk. Beat 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk; add. Beat 1 egg white stiff; fold in. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 425 for 45 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. |
