POPPY COCK 
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts

In heavy pan add sugar, syrup and butter. Bring to a hard boil and then take off burner immediately. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Before making above syrup pop enough popcorn to make 12 cups popped popcorn. Keep in oven while making syrup. Pour 1/3 popcorn at a time on buttered cookie sheet and pour over with syrup. Mix well and add nuts. Drop in globs on waxed paper.
