ZESTY BUTTER STICKS | |
1/2 loaf French or Italian bread 1/2 c. butter, softened 1/2 tsp. chervil 1/2 tsp. basil leaves 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. onion powder Preheat oven to 425. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Then cut each piece lengthwise to make 3 wedges. In small bowl combine remaining ingredients; blend well. Spread butter on cut surfaces of bread wedges. Bake on ungreased 15x10 baking sheet near center of oven for 7-9 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Makes 6 wedges. |
