MYSTERY PECAN PIE 
1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (9 inch) pie shell
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
3 eggs
1 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

In a small mixer bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, the salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 egg. Spread the mixture in the pie shell and sprinkle with pecans. Combine the 3 eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, the syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Blend well. Gently pour this over the pecans in pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cool before serving.
