PECAN PIES 
2/3 c. Crisco
6 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 pie shells, uncooked
2 c. pecans

Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into two pie shells and add 1 cup pecans to each pie. Bake at 425 degrees for ten minutes. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees, and complete baking for 25-30 minutes. Brush melted butter over pies while hot.
