PECAN PIE 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. pecan halves
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In 2 quart saucepan over low heat, heat butter until melted; remove saucepan from heat. With wire whisk, beat in corn syrup, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until blended.

Arrange pecans in bottom of pie crust; carefully pour egg mixture over them. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
