KOSHER GARLIC PICKLES 
4 1/2 lbs. cucumbers (med. size)
6 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. mustard seed
3 c. vinegar
3 c. water
3/4 dill seed

Put lots of garlic and 1 pod of hot pepper in top and bottom of each jar; put 1 teaspoon of dill and mustard seed in top and bottom of each jar. Heat salt, vinegar and water; pour over cucumbers which have been packed in jars. Seal and process immediately submerged in boiling water about 10 minutes, until cucumbers are good and hot.
