GARLIC DILL PICKLES 
2 c. water (hard well water only)
1/2 c. vinegar (scant)
1 heaping tbsp. canning salt

For 10 quarts, use: 4 c. vinegar 8 tbsp. salt

Boil the water, vinegar, and salt. Add to each jar bottom - dill, garlic clove, onions, and cabbage. Pack in cucumbers. Add to top of each jar - dill, garlic clove, and onions. Pour boiling brine into jars and seal.
