MOM'S SPOON BREAD | |
1 tbsp. melted butter 1 c. cornmeal 2 c. boiling water 2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs, beaten Preheat oven. Put butter in 2 quart casserole and heat the dish in the oven while mixing ingredients. Bring water to boil in a saucepan, stir in cornmeal and remove from heat. Add milk, salt, baking powder and eggs. Pour in casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
