COCONUT CREAM PIE 
baked 9-inch pie shell
2 c. milk, scalded
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. shredded coconut

Cook milk until scalded. Mix flour and sugar; add to hot milk until thickened. Beat egg yolks and add to custard. Add salt, vanilla, butter and coconut. Pour in shell and cool. When serving, top with Cool Whip.
