COCONUT CREAM PIE 
1 pt. milk
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cold water
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. coconut
1 baked pie shell

Add yolks, cornstarch, water to the milk. Beat together, add sugar. Cook until thick. Add vanilla, salt, and coconut. When cool put in shell. Put meringue and sprinkle with coconut - brown in hot oven.
