1 1/2 c. unsifted all purpose flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. cold water
1 c. semi sweet mini chips
Optional, ice cream

Oven 350 degrees 10 x 7, 8 square or 9 square pan. Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt into 10 x 7 pan. With your index finger make 3 holes in flour mixture. Pour butter into 1 hole, vinegar in second hole and vanilla into third hole. Pour water over it all. With a fork stir mixture until well mixed. Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Immediately top cake with chips and bake 2 to 3 minutes longer just until they soften and then spread chips and cool.
