SOUR CREAM CUTOUTS 
1/2 c. shortening (part butter)
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sour cream

Mix shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Blend dry ingredients and mix with shortening. Add sour cream. Roll 1/4 inch thick (make thick). Bake at 425 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown. No need to refrigerate, add flour when rolling if to sticky!
