2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and egg together. Add flour one cup at a time. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Roll and cut. Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes on ungreased pan.
