1 level c. sugar
1 round c. lard or oil (oil for better health)
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
2 rounding tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
6 1/2 c. flour

Mix sugar and fat. Beat eggs and add. Then add milk and flavoring - then flour mixture. Roll out 1/8 inch and cut cookies with a scalloped cookie cutter and cut hole in the middle with a thimble. Sprinkle sugar on top. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350-375 degrees.
