SWEDISH RUSKS 
1 loaf thin sliced sandwich bread
1/2 lb. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. dried orange rind

Soften butter. Mix in sugar and orange rind. Cut crusts off bread. (they made be used for dressing later). Place a large spoonful on each piece of bread and spread. Cut each slice into 3 pieces and place on cookie sheets. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour.
