MARYLAND FRIED CHICKEN 
4-6 lbs. chicken
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. accent
1 c. dry bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. half and half
1/4 lb. butter

FOR THE GRAVY:

3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. half and half

Mix salt, pepper, Accent and bread crumbs. Mix eggs with 2 tbsp. half and half. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture and then the bread crumbs. Melt butter in large skillet and saute each piece of chicken until browned. Turn heat to very low and cook 1 hour. Remove chicken. To butter in skillet add flour, salt and pepper. Cook until bubbly. Stir in half and half. Stir until thickened. Pour over chicken.
