TWINKIE CAKE 
1 cake mix (chocolate is best)

FILLING:

4 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Prepare cake mix according to directions in 2 layer pans. After they are cool, cut each layer in two.

FILLING: Heat milk and flour in small pan until thick. Cool at least an hour. Beat sugar, Crisco, butter and vanilla for 4 minutes. Add flour mixture and beat another 4 minutes. Frost all layers but the top. Dust the top with powdered sugar.
