TWINKIE CAKE 
1 boxed yellow cake mix

Bake in 9 x 13 pan per directions. Remove from pan immediately. Cool and split into 2 layers using thread.

FILLING:

5 tsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil flour and milk until thick, stirring constantly. Combine sugar, salt, Crisco, butter, and vanilla. Beat for 15 minutes. Add flour/milk mixture and beat 3 minutes more. Use as filling between the 2 layers. Refrigerate leftover cake.
