CHERRY CRUMB CAKE 
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft butter
1 beaten egg
1 can cherry pie filling
Cinnamon to taste

Mix sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in butter. Add egg and mix. Mixture will be crumbly. Place half in 8 x 8 inch pan. Spread pie filling over this layer. Add cinnamon to the remaining half of the crumb mixture and cover pie filling.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Do not keep tightly covered or crust gets too moist.
