APPLE PECAN CRISP 
2 c. apples, sliced thin
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Butter casserole, add apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and water. Blend together flour, sugar and butter until crumbly. Add pecans to mixture and spread over apples. Bake 35 minutes at 400 degrees.

Serve warm with a topping of whipped cream. This recipe is also good with apricots in place of apples.
