APPLE PECAN CRISP 
4 c. tart apples, sliced and sprinkled with lemon juice
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sifted plain flour
1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Butter 8 inch square pan. Spread apples on bottom. Blend remaining ingredients until crumbly. Spread over apples. Bake at 350 degrees until apples are tender and top is golden brown, 30-45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
