OAT BRAN PIE CRUST 
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. uncooked oats
3-4 tbsp. water

Combine flour, sugar and salt; cut in the shortening, stir in the oats, sprinkle cold water over this mixture, and shape it into a ball to chill for 1 hour. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 1 (9") pie shell. Oatmeal may be substituted for oat bran, if preferred.
