SPAGHETTI FOR 100 NORMAL EATERS 
10 lbs. ground beef (ground chuck or ground round is better)
2 lbs. fresh mushrooms, sliced
5 lg. green bell peppers, diced
10 lg. white onions, diced
20 cloves fresh garlic, diced or minced
2 gallons tomato sauce
2 or 3 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
10 lbs. uncooked spaghetti noodles

SEASONINGS:

Basil
Or egano
Parsley
5 lg. bay leaves, tied in cheese cloth
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder (if you like heavy garlic)

May also use "Presti's Authentic Italian Seasoning for Spaghetti", available at Sam's Wholesale.

MEAT MIXTURE: Brown ground beef. Be sure to drain fat! In a small amount of butter or oil saute together sliced mushrooms, diced onions, bell pepper and fresh garlic. Mix well with ground beef and cook until vegetables are tender.

In a large pot put tomato sauce. Depending how large you wish your chunks of tomato to be, chop or puree your whole tomatoes and stir in with tomato sauce. Add meat mixture. Season to taste using above listed seasonings. Simmer for 2 to 3 hours for a good blend of seasonings.

Start cooking spaghetti noodles according to directions on bag about 15 to 30 minutes before serving your group. You may wish to stir in vegetable oil with cooked noodles to help prevent sticking.
