SLUMGOLLY 
4 strips bacon
1 lb. ground meat
2 lg. onions, sliced
3 lg. potatoes, cut in French fry fashion
1 green pepper, cut in julienne strips
3 c. shredded cabbage
2 tomatoes, diced or 1 can diced tomatoes with juice
1 c. diced celery
3/4 c. water
5 tbsp. soy sauce

Using electric skillet, fry bacon. Remove and reserve. Fry onion and ground meat in bacon grease until meat is brown and onion tender. Drain grease. Cut up potatoes, green pepper and reserve. Stir soy sauce, water and tomato into hot meat mixture. Add all prepared vegetables and crumbled bacon pieces. Cover and cook over high heat until steam escapes. Turn to simmer and cook 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
