CHEESE STROGANOFF CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. ground beef 1 bell pepper, grated fine 1 onion, grated fine 2 cans tomato sauce 1 med. carton cottage cheese 1 sm. carton sour cream 1 pkg. noodles Mix ground beef, grated pepper and onion in skillet. Fry or saute until meat is done and pepper and onion is tender. Then mix the tomato sauce and cottage cheese with the meat mixture and simmer for 40 minutes. Add sour cream and spread over cooked noodles in a casserole dish topped with meat mixture. Top with your favorite grated cheese. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. NOTE: While the meat mixture is simmering, cook the noodles according to the directions on the package. Drain and put in bottom of dish to be topped with meat mixture.
