1 #2 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 lb. can prepared cherry pie filling (apple or any other you like)
1 box yellow or white cake mix
1/2-1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
2 sticks butter

Grease a tube pan (not the 2 piece kind) and place pineapple in bottom of pan. Cover with pie filling, cake mix and then nuts. Cut butter into pieces and lace over cake mixture. Do not mix! Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serve warm or cold by dripping or dumping out with a spoon. Serves 10-12. Serve hot with whip cream, Cool Whip or Dream Whip.
