DUMP CAKE 
1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling
1 stick butter
Nuts; optional

Grease 9 x 13 cake pan. Spread pineapple in the pan, then pie filling on top of that. Crumble the dry cake mix over all. Cut butter in small pieces over all. Sprinkle nuts on the top.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Serve warm or cold with Cool Whip if desired.
