NEW ENGLAND DINNER 
1 cabbage head
4 potatoes
1 pkg. summer sausage
butter
4 carrots
1 large onion
salt and pepper

In a large pan, put water. Cut potatoes, carrots and onion up. Put into pan. Cut sausage up. Lay on top of vegetables. Quarter cabbage and put on top. Bring water to boil. Cook until done. Place on large platter. Serve. Put salt and pepper to season. Add butter to season also.
