PRUNELLA CAKE 
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. sour milk
1 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1 c. chopped cooked prunes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. nuts

Blend Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add prunes, then milk. Add dry ingredients and nuts. Bake in 2 layers or large cake pan, about 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

CREAMY ICING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt

Combine half with 2 tablespoons Crisco. Add remaining sugar, 2 tablespoons prune juice and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
