HASTY CARAMEL FROSTING 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Blend in brown sugar and salt. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil; remove at once from heat. Add vanilla. Blend in powdered sugar gradually. Don't add too much. It thickens as it cools. Thin with small amount of cream if it gets too thick.
