HAMBURGER VEGETABLE MEDLEY | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. thinly sliced carrots 1 c. finely chopped celery 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. leaf thyme 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes 1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes 2 c. cooked noodles You may sub. or add any vegetables Brown ground beef and crumble into 2 quart glass casserole. Stir in carrots, celery and green pepper. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until carrots are tender. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients; mix well; recover. Microwave on reheat for 14-16 minutes or until hot and vegetables are tender. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving. Serves 4-6. |
