DILL PICKLES 
Dill
Green peppers
Garlic cloves
Sm. to med. cucumbers

BRINE:

3 qts. water
1 qt. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. salt

Pack washed cucumbers in clean quart jars. Into each jar put green peppers, a stem of dill and garlic according to taste. Mix brine and fill each jar with brine. Place hot jar lids on jars and steam in hot water bath until pickles start to turn yellow green.
