EASY CHICKEN KIEV | |
2/3 c. butter 1/2 c. bread crumbs 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 1/2 lbs. boneless chicken breasts 1/4 c. white wine or apple juice 1/4 c. chopped onions 1/4 c. fresh parsley Melt butter. Combine crumbs, cheese and spices. Dip chicken in butter, then in crumb mixture. Place chicken in casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Add wine, onion and parsley to remaining butter. Pour over chicken and bake another 3-5 minutes to heat sauce. Serve chicken with sauce spooned over. Add a little lemon to sauce if desired. Serves 4. |
