CHICKEN KIEV-COUNTRY STYLE | |
2/3 c. melted butter 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 2 chicken breasts, split 1/4 c. chopped green onions 1/4 c. chopped parsley 1 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1 1/2 tsp. basil 1 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. dry white wine (Holland House White) cooking wine Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In heavy 2-quart saucepan, melt butter. On wax paper, combine bread crumbs with all of the seasonings. Dip chicken in melted butter and roll in bread mixture. Place skin side up in ungreased 9-inch square baking dish. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and chicken is tender. Meanwhile, add wine, green onion and parsley to remaining butter (1/2 cup). When chicken is golden, pour sauce all over. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes or just until sauce i shot. Serve with sauce spooned over. |
