HOT GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 
1 gal. sm. green tomatoes
1 pt. onions, cut in chunks
2-3 hot pepper, sliced
1/4 c. plain salt
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. cider vinegar

Mix together tomatoes, peppers, onions and salt. Boil sugar and vinegar; pour over tomatoes and cook until tomatoes turn whitish. Stir lightly and can.
